Meet Our Action team
Kanika is a rising high school senior and a co-lead in the San Jose team of SVYCA. She works to increase awareness of climate action through educational opportunities and advocate for climate-friendly policies.
Mani Bekele is a high school junior from Downtown San José. As an advocate for climate action and protecting our local ecosystems, he co-leads the San José City and Nature-Based Solutions teams of Silicon Valley Youth Climate Action, in addition to serving on the City of San José's Climate Advisory Commission.
Calvin Sridhara is a high school sophomore and a San Jose youth climate action co lead who is very passionate about climate change
Isabella Kim, a sophomore in high school and a resident of San Jose. As a proud member of SVYCA, I have gained numerous invaluable experiences whilst advocating for climate action in our community.

Celine Sims is a middle school student and resident of San Jose. As an passionate and active member of the SVYCA San Jose Team, Celine works to raise awareness about climate change and advocates for environmentally friendly policies. In her free time, she enjoys competitive swimming, reading, writing, and hanging out with friends.
